イギリスを拠点に、ストリートアートとデジタルメディアを横断するアーティスト。2010年、壁画全体を何度も塗り替え、その都度撮影した画像をGIFアニメーションにする「GIF-ITI」を考案しました。現場では消えていく壁画と、オンライン上で動き続ける映像を対比させ、時間や空間、作品を消費する行為を問い直しています。
 

​UK-based artist INSA works at the crossroads of street art and digital media. In 2010, he developed “GIF-ITI,” a process in which an entire mural is painted over, with each interaction photographed and later compiled into an animated GIF. By contrasting murals that gradually disappear on site with images that continue to exist online, INSA explores questions surrounding time, space, and the act of consuming art.
